Altoona Curve
The Altoona Curve is a popular baseball team located in Altoona.Their owner is Bob Lozinak he also created them. They play their home games at Blair County Ballpark. Their manager is P.J. Forbes.They were created in 1998. Their name has not changed in the years they have been playing.Their most famous players are: Neil Walker, 2nd baseman for the Pirates, Pedro Alvarez 3rd baseman for the Pirates, and Andrew Mc Cutcheon center fielder for the Pirates.They won the 2010 Eastern League Championship. Their home uniform is white with red socks and letters. Their road uniform is gray with red socks letters and a gray baseball cap. Their mascots are Steamer, Al Tuna, Diesel Dawg, and Tenacious C. Their league is the AA Affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Reading Phillies
The Reading Phillies are a popular baseball team located in Reading.They're owned by the Philadelphia Phillies. They play their home games at First Energy Stadium. Their manager is Mark Parent. They started playing in 1967. Bob Carpenter created the Reading Phillies. Their name hasn't changed in the years they have been playing. Their most famous players are Ryan Howard, 1st baseman for the Phillies, Jimmy Rollins, shortstop for the Phillies, Darren Daulton, catcher for the Phillies 1985 to 1997, and Mike Schmidt hall of fame 3rd baseman for the Phillies 1972 to 1989. They won the Eastern League Championship of 1968, 1973, 1995, and 2001. Their team colors are red, navy blue, light blue, and bubble gum. Their mascot is Screwball.They're the AA Affiliate for the Philadelphia Phillies and they play in the Eastern Division of Eastern League.
