Atlantic Coastal Plain Climate and Geography
The Atlantic Coastal Plain is the second smallest region of Pennsylvania but it still has a lot of rivers and landforms. Lots of places in the Atlantic Coastal Plain are beautiful and very special!
There is the Schuylkill River, the Delaware River,and the Atlantic Coastal Plain has all four seasons: fall, winter, spring, and summer.

Climate
Winter in Pennsylvania near Philadelphia is cold but it doesn't get as much snow as the rest of the state. Pennsylvania gets an average of 19 inches of snow in a year. Spring in Pennsylvania is rainy and cool in the beginning but by the end of the season it is nice weather. In the fall near Philadelphia the weather is very nice and temperatures are cool. By the summer it is hot but not too hot. The average temperature in July is 77 F degrees.
Geography
The climate in Pennsylvania is different in every region but near central PA there are mountains. There are also mountains near the northeast. Areas near the south are more flat. Two rivers in the Atlantic Coastal Plain are the Delaware River and the Schuylkill River.
